This policy outlines how payments, cancellations, and refunds are handled for stays, functions, and event bookings at Villa Sonaté.

At Villa Sonaté, we aim to provide a transparent booking experience. The following policy explains our payment procedures, cancellation timelines, and refund terms for both accommodations and events.

1. Accommodation Bookings

Reservations may be secured by paying either in full or by paying a 50% deposit, with the remaining balance due before arrival.


2. Cancellation Policy for Accommodations

Cancellations must be made within the timelines below to avoid penalties:

Weekend stays: at least 7 days prior to arrival

Holiday & Peak Periods: at least 10 days prior to arrival

Midweek stays: at least 3 days prior to arrival

Cancellations that do not comply with the applicable notice period will incur a charge equal to one night per room reserved.


3. Confirmation of Function Space

To confirm function space, the individual or company holding the event must sign and date the proposal to indicate acceptance and return it to Villa Sonaté. The initial deposit must follow in order to secure the booking.


4. Payment Procedure for Events

A deposit of 50% of the total quoted charges is required immediately to confirm an event booking. The remaining balance must be paid no later than one month prior to the event date.


5. Event Cancellation Policy

If an event is cancelled up to 60 days prior to the scheduled date, 50% of the deposit paid will be refunded.

If the event is cancelled 30 days or less prior to the scheduled date, the deposit paid is non-refundable.


6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution or payment provider.


7. Reservation Changes

Requests to modify dates, room selections, or event arrangements are subject to availability. Additional charges may apply depending on the revised reservation details.
